The Punjab Information
Technology Board (PITB) has announced the approval of its e-Rozgaar independent
training program.The e-Rozgar program aims to reduce unemployment and
accelerate economic growth in Pakistan by increasing foreign exchange earnings.
Under this program,
PITB, in partnership with the Punjab government, has established e-Rozgaar
centers in 36 provincial districts to provide training to emerging independents
and to develop their professional skills.
“Through this program,
the Punjab government will help young people to earn a living. One of the main
objectives of the project is to provide training opportunities for young people
to become self-employed through internet freelancing ”said the official e-Rozgar website.

Eligibility
Interested parties may
apply for the e-Rozgar program if they have:
1.
Basic computer information
2.
Punjab province's residence
3.
Electronic National Identity Card (CNIC)
4.
Minimum of 16 years of education
Age
Limit
Students up to the age
of 35 can apply.
How
to apply
Applicants can apply on
the e-Rozgar website to participate in online login testing and submit
certified documents. After submitting the information, candidates will receive
an SMS or email alert for an online test date.
When you pass the exam,
PITB will publish a list of students on the shortlist. Candidates will be asked
to upload the required documents to the website. Once confirmed, candidates
will be registered for the online training program.
Eligible candidates
will be trained for a free three-month course by specialists in their fields,
which will allow candidates to earn money online by working from home to do
technical, non-technical, and creative assignments.
